Tim Patten
Founder & President
Tim is the founder and president of The Great Commission Hub. Before launching The Great Commission Hub, Tim had a successful career in construction as an owner, project manager and general manager in custom home building. Prior to that, he worked in aviation as a corporate pilot and aircraft mechanic. Tim received his bachelor’s degree in Mission Aviation from Moody Bible Institute, where he also served on staff as a flight instructor. He has served on two short assignments with Africa Inland Mission in Kenya. His mission experience also includes construction and community development teams in Honduras and Guatemala. Tim is a visionary with a passion for mobilizing churches and believers to engage in making disciples of all nations. This vision has led to the creation and development of The Great Commission Hub, a global platform for connecting believers and churches to gospel-centered opportunities from around the world. Tim loves sharing life’s many adventures with his wife Jamie and their five children.
Jamie Bennington
Advisory Board Member
Jamie serves as one of the advisory board founder members for the Great Commission Hub. Jamie is the Spiritual Life Director at Adams County Christian School in Southern Ohio where he serves in teaching, leadership, and coaching roles. He is also a licensed realtor and broker in the state of Ohio. Prior to his current positions, he worked in both youth and family ministry, as well as construction. His mission experience includes trips to Central America and the Caribbean, engaging in outreach and relief work. Jamie received both his Bachelor of Missions and Master’s in Theology at Cincinnati Christian University. While at CCU he co-founded Christian Volunteer Clearinghouse, an organization connecting students to service agencies in the Cincinnati area. Jamie has a heart for discipleship and passion for using whatever context we are in to help people grow in their relationship with God. Jamie and his wife Karry live near Peebles, Ohio and have two grown children.
Josh Sundstrom
Advisory Board Member
Josh serves as one of the advisory board founder members for the Great Commission Hub. Josh is the Owner and President of WillowRidge Construction, a custom home building company in Anchorage Alaska. His gift for design, and skills as a true craftsman in a variety of fields have provided a platform for mentoring others and blessing countless lives. Prior to founding WillowRidge, he worked as a commercial fisherman and boat builder. Josh’s heart for missions led him to serve a short stint in Botswana, in southern Africa before attending Alaska Bible Institute. Josh is a gifted communicator and businessman with a passion to live an authentic life for the glory of God – and it shows in his business, his craft, and in his family. Josh and his wife, Mika, along with their three children, live in Anchorage, Alaska.
